1. Who is behind it

Šarena Laža is run by Emir Dupovac as an individual, from Sarajevo. “Šarena Laža” is a project name, not a registered company. Nothing is sold for now: no commissions and no ads.

2. Your account

You make an account with your email or a Google account. You are responsible for your details being right and for access to your account. Don’t share your sign-in with others.

Givers don’t need an account: they reserve with a name and email and manage the reservation through a private link in their email. Group gifts and Secret Santa need an account.

3. Your content

Your lists, wishes, photos and descriptions are yours, and you are responsible for them. You let us show them to the people you choose (by the list’s privacy) and keep them while you use the service.

Don’t post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading, or other people’s personal details without permission. Our team can hide or remove content that breaks these rules, and anyone can report content from inside the app.

4. Gift reservations

Šarena Laža doesn’t sell or deliver gifts. Links to shops lead to other people’s sites: we’re not responsible for their prices, availability, delivery or content.

A list owner doesn’t see reservations on their wishes until the giver marks the gift as given. That is the heart of the service, so please don’t try to get around it.

In a group gift the app doesn’t receive or move money. It only helps you agree and keep track of who has paid what between yourselves.

5. Gift ideas

If you have a public list, our team may turn one of your wishes into an anonymous idea. An idea never carries your name and doesn’t lead to you. If you make the list friends-only or link-only, ideas still waiting for approval are taken back. Approved ideas stay when you delete a wish or your account, with no connection to you.

6. Secret Santa

The organizer makes the group, invites people, sets the budget and runs the draw. Only the person who drew someone sees who it is, nobody else, the organizer included. Someone leaving after the draw affects pairs, which the organizer can redraw. Groups can only change while the event is open.

7. What isn’t allowed

Misusing the service, sending unwanted messages, collecting data automatically, trying to get around privacy or security, and pretending to be someone else.

8. Availability and liability

We offer the service “as is”. We do our best to keep it running, but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for harm from using the service, including a missed or doubled gift.

9. Ending and deleting

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. Before deleting, we tell people who reserved a gift from you. We may limit or close an account that breaks these rules.

10. Changes and law

We may change these terms; bigger changes will be announced in the app or by email. The law of Bosnia and Herzegovina applies.
